At CLC we are constantly developing new teaching programs in order to give our students the very best possible language learning experience.
Over the past few months, our Spanish department has updated several aspects of the curriculum and introduced new technologies to improve the way in which we keep track of our students’ progress.
For our beginner program, we have developed a specially designed booklet in-house to have students communicate in Spanish from the start.
The booklet is filled with images that help students acquire basic vocabulary in an engaging and natural way. Our classes are focused on communication, so there are no grammatical drills and exercises included; grammar is learned in an organic way through the practice of conversation, just like when you learn your mother tongue.
We have also updated and improved our pre-intermediate program, by selecting specific grammar and vocabulary points that address the students’ needs at this level. Additionally, we have developed a series of discussion topics at every level to engage the students in lively and productive conversation.
There are no exams. We use a continuous evaluation system that helps us identify the students’ weak areas and allows us to monitor their progress. These digital files summarize all this information in a graph that lets us visualize the students’ performance.
We invite you to come and enjoy this unique learning experience! Here’s what some of our recent students had to say.
“I cannot believe how much I learned in the 6 weeks of classes.” Mouna
“I find the atmosphere very welcoming and warm; the teacher is wonderful-professional; capable; encouraging; positive and she creates a terrific learning environment.” Shana
“The positive challenges that it made me face. Great learning experience.” Jessika
