CLC gets in shape!

Are you tired of sitting on the couch all day? Feeling low energy at this time of the year? If so, CLC English students have created easy winter workouts that you can do right from the comfort of your living room. The best part is that you don’t need any particular equipment besides a carpet and access to stairs. No cost, easy, and fun. Ready, set, go!

Workout designed for women (created by Graciela and Felipe):

All strength exercises are 3 sets of 15 repetitions:

1) Squats

2) Crunches

3) Cardio (30-minute brisk walk)

4) Modified push-ups

5) Shaking arms (do this for 5 minutes straight)

6) Wrist curls using a can or water bottle

Workout for men (created by Jeong-Ha, William, and Seo Young):

All strength exercises are 3 sets of 15 repetitions:

1) 3-minute stretching exercises (hold each stretch for 5 seconds)

2) 2 minutes of squats

3) Sit-ups (as you lift your upper body off the floor, turn on the left and right side)

4) Wrist curls

5) Stair steps for 3 minutes (basically, you can go up and down the stairs or simply on one step)

6) Push-ups

7) Bridge (lift your body off the floor using your lower arms and your toes and stay in that position)
