Bazaar guide 2015

Avenue Mont-Royal bazaar

If you are looking for a unique item such as an antique armchair or a 70s vinyl record, look no further than the annual Bazaar directory published by the Montreal Gazette. Every year, they publish a comprehensive guide to all the awesome rummage sales, bazaars, and art sales going on in Montreal and the surrounding areas. I followed this guide religiously last year and found a myriad of beautiful items just about every weekend. I visited so many beautiful churches (a common setting for bazaars and craft sales) and sampled some delicious homemade munchies. Most events are free of charge or a small donation is recommended. Besides that, be sure to bring plenty of spare change as these establishments do not accept credit or debit cards.
