Apple Crisp Delight

A couple of weeks ago, CLC’s Food Club prepared a delicious apple crisp for students and staff to enjoy. For many, it was the first time cooking such a typical Canadian dessert (usually served in the fall due to apple picking season). What’s gre  at about apple crisp is that it requires very few ingredients but contains so much flavour. You can serve the apple crisp as is or you can top it with vanilla ice cream (highly recommended). I’ve made this dessert many times before using different recipes with slight variations. However, I’m proud to say that I’ve finally found the perfect recipe and I’d like to share it with all of you!

The food blog site Simply Recipes has caught my eye more than once before. What I love about this website is that the author, Elise, creates recipes using simple ingredients. She also separates the recipes by categories including “Gluten-Free,” “Vegetarian,” and “Budget.”
