Club activities

Attention, attention everyone! CLC is pleased to announce that there are a variety of new clubs at the school. There’s no better way to relax after a long day of learning English or French than to continue practicing the language in a more informal setting. The intention of the clubs is to bring together CLC students and connect on a different level. Each week there is a different theme available for students to explore. In order to join the clubs, you must sign up at the reception desk. We look forward to seeing you there!

Here is a description of the clubs; the times are from 3:30-5:30 p.m.:

The first Tuesday of every month is the MOVIE CLUB. Wanna share your movie knowledge or show off your trivia skills? If so, this club may be just for you. We may also view movies at CLC or go out in the community and watch a movie elsewhere.

The second Tuesday of every month is the PUB CLUB. Montreal boasts many pubs which offer delightful drinks. Why not unwind with your classmates and have a drink or two?

The third Tuesday of every month is the GAME CLUB. Depending on weather, we may play a soccer match outside or stay indoors and play board games. The possibilities are endless!

Finally, the last Tuesday of every month is the FOOD CLUB. This is a perfect opportunity to show your fellow students how to cook a traditional dish or discover some of Montreal’s best and affordable restaurants.

If volunteering in the community is more your thing, we also have a VOLUNTEER CLUB which runs on Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30 p.m. We recently attended an event hosted by Action Communiterre and had an enriching time. Don’t miss out!
