Montreal is particularly famous for its Underground City. Now that the weather is getting slightly chillier, we can appreciate it a lot more. It has been said that some people can spend the entire winter without having to step outside because we can find everything in the Underground City: banks, food, shops, laundromats, parking lots, etc. The underground path connects to so many office buildings that if you’re one of the lucky ones, you can shop or have lunch during your breaks without having to put your jacket on!
CLC students spent the day exploring this underground path on foot. They started at Place d’Armes metro station and ended their journey at McGill University:
Place d’Armes metro station -> Square-Victoria metro station -> Bonaventure train station -> Place Ville-Marie -> Eaton Center -> Place Montreal Trust -> Peel metro station -> McGill University
