The CLC community had the opportunity to assist the 33rd edition of the Montreal International Jazz Festival. Every summer, this festival changes the downtown’s dynamism. Streets are closed to install many open air stages that welcome over 3,000 artists from over 30 countries.
The first festival was held in 1980 with an attendance of 12 000 people. Today, the festival welcomes over 2.5 million visitors and covers all jazz genres. It also features related genres such us Blues, Latin Jazz, Brazilian, Cuban, African Reggae, and Electronica.
For that reason this festival is the best opportunity to undertake a cultural journey around the world without leaving Montreal.
