Cookie Sale for Japanese Earthquake Relief

Our cookie fundraiser for the Canadian Red Cross: Japanese Earthquake Relief Fund , held this past Saturday was a huge success!  A total of 536 attendants came to support this afternoon event.  In fact, 3200 cookies were sold and $9,223.89 in cookie, nail art, accessory and face painting sales were raised.  It was not only about raising funds, but also about the Japanese and Montreal community coming together with their friends and family for a great cause.

Strong praises for the organizing team and volunteers, who did a fabulous job in getting this together in such a short period of time!

Due to the high demand for a repeat event, we are having a “Bake & Craft Sale for Japan” this upcoming Saturday, March 26, 2011, from 1pm to 5pm at CLC Montreal:  4260 ave Girouard #350 (corner Monkland and Girouard), Montréal, Québec (metro Villa Maria).

Please come and support the Montreal Japanese community and their Japan earthquake relief fundraising efforts!
